Stick began playing the drums while still in the womb. Because of this he was born 7 months premature. At age 3 he gave drum lessons to John Bonham and Neil Peart. By age 6, after touring the world and elsewhere, he went on to play drums for every band ever known. After a short break, because he realized playing with every band was not giving other drummers a chance, he decided to play with DMS because he likes them enough to allow them to ride his coat tails.
